Our story
When passion meets eco-responsibility.
It all began in the 90s, when Patrick, founder of ERIS MIZAR, was fascinated by hip-hop culture, the stars and sneaker design, and observed the evolution of urban fashion. Fascinated by the world of trainers, he was already dreaming of creating something different, a sneaker that would not just be a style accessory, but also a statement of values.
He spent hours analysing trends, observing how trainers evolved and became cultural symbols. Inspired by artistic movements and the energy of the streets, he imagined a brand that would combine heritage and innovation, anchored in a strong vision of aesthetics and responsibility.
As the years went by, frustration grew at an industry that all too often turned its back on the environment: leathers treated with toxic products, omnipresent plastics, irresponsible overproduction… It was then that the founding idea of ERIS MIZAR was born: why not reinvent the sneaker, giving it a more sustainable and ethical soul?
One day, a phrase read by chance rang out like a call:
“In life, you have two choices in the morning: either you go back to bed to keep dreaming, or you get up to make your dreams come true.”
That’s when it all clicked. In 2022, ERIS MIZAR was born, with a clear mission: to prove that a sneaker can be premium, timeless and eco-responsible, without compromising on style or quality.
From the outset, every decision we made was guided by ethics and responsibility:
Chrome-free leather – Gentler on the skin, more respectful of nature.
Recycled and natural materials – Soles in recycled rubber, laces in organic cotton.
European manufacturing – Preserved know-how, fair working conditions.
Timeless design – Unlike disposable trends, our models are made to last.
Our aim is simple: to reconcile luxury, sustainability and ecological awareness. We have chosen to produce small series, to avoid overproduction, and to favour materials that have a positive impact on the environment.

Our symbols tell a celestial story that reflects our identity and our vision.
The circle represents ERIS, a dwarf planet at the edge of our solar system. Discovered in 2005, ERIS is one of the most massive objects in the Kuiper Belt,
The star symbolises MIZAR, a bright star in the Big Dipper constellation. Mizar is famous for being the first binary star discovered with the naked eye.
Together, these symbols illustrate our commitment to exploring new horizons while valuing teamwork and harmony in all our endeavours.
